QUALITY GUARANTEE

It’s not easy obtaining QTS in the UK. Firstly you need a degree (3 to 4 years of studying), then you need to spend at least one more year obtaining a post graduate certificate of education (PGCE) and only then do you get the seal of approval. (Many then embark on the final and highest level of education and become a doctor of education EdD – the Educational equivalent to a PhD). Of course that is just the beginning of the journey! Every year in the classroom teaches you new techniques and approaches and the obligatory CPD (Continuing Professional Development) enables the spreading of good practices from further afield.
